Echor Hotels adds paid EV charging at its Kasol and Manali properties with Zevpoint
22 kW AC chargers let guests driving the Chandigarh to Manali route charge overnight, at tariffs set by the hotel.
Chandigarh, India. Echor Hotels, a boutique chain with more than 15 properties across Himachal Pradesh and beyond, has installed Zevpoint 22 kW AC chargers at its Kasol and Manali properties.
Many Echor guests drive up from Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab, and public charging in the hills is still sparse. With chargers on site, guests charge overnight while they stay.
Charging is a paid service run by the hotel. Echor sets its own per-kWh tariff and sees every session and the revenue it earns in Zev Connect, Zevpoint's charge point management software. The installation was set up for the patchy internet connectivity common in hill stations.
