Short
Zevpoint is an Indian EV charging company that handles charging end to end: site surveys and planning, a full range of AC and DC chargers, installation by its own teams, charge point management software and apps, and after-sales service. Founded in Chandigarh in 2019, it serves homes, housing societies, offices, hotels, fleets and public sites, and more than 45,000 Indian homes charge with Zevpoint, with on-ground support in over 700 districts.
Long
Zevpoint is an Indian electric vehicle charging company founded in Chandigarh in 2019 by Akaash Jain and Gurvardaan Singh. It takes customers from the first site survey to years of service: engineers survey homes and commercial sites before anything is bought, Zevpoint supplies AC chargers from 3.6 to 22 kW and DC fast chargers from 30 to 240 kW, and its own teams install them, from a single home charger to a full charging station. Site owners run their chargers on Zev Connect, Zevpoint's charge point management software, setting access and tariffs and tracking revenue and uptime, while drivers pay by UPI or through the Zevpoint app. More than 45,000 Indian homes charge with Zevpoint, with on-ground support in over 700 districts, and its chargers run at corporate sites for Amazon, NVIDIA, Merck, Bank of Baroda, Hyatt and Wyndham. Zevpoint E-mobility Private Limited is headquartered in Chandigarh.

Spokespeople and topics
Both founders give interviews in English, Hindi and Punjabi, in person in Chandigarh or on video. Ask the press desk for a slot.
Topics we can speak to with data
- Home EV charging in India: single-phase versus three-phase homes, sanctioned load, what an installation really involves
- Charging in apartments and housing societies
- Workplace charging: how offices and campuses charge staff and visitor cars
- DC fast charging for hotels, fleets and highways: site selection, payback and uptime
- Running a charging site: access rules, tariffs, UPI payments and uptime
- What Indian EV owners buy, where, and how usage is changing, from Zevpoint's own installation and sales data
- Safety and certification of EV chargers sold in India
Style notes
- Zevpoint in text: one word, capital Z, the rest lower case. In the logo the first three letters are capitals, ZEVpoint, because ZEV stands for zero-emission vehicle; that styling belongs to the logo only. Not Zev Point, ZevPoint or ZEVPOINT.
- Product names take the brand first: "the Zevpoint Polar Pro 7.5 kW wall charger", "the Zevpoint Nova 120 kW DC fast charger".
- Software and app names: Zev Connect (charge point management, for site owners), the Zevpoint app (for drivers) and Zevpoint Home (for home chargers).
- kW is charging power; kWh is battery capacity. A 7.5 kW charger adds roughly 7.5 kWh to a battery every hour.
- Zevpoint is an end-to-end EV charging company, not only a charger maker. At commercial sites the site owner owns the chargers, sets the tariff and keeps the revenue; Zevpoint plans, builds, runs the software for and services the site.
