NVIDIA's Hyderabad office gives employees free EV charging for cars and two-wheelers, installed by Zevpoint
Twenty chargers share the building's available power through dynamic load balancing, and employees start a session with an RFID tap, with no app or account.
Chandigarh, India. Zevpoint has installed 20 EV chargers at NVIDIA's office in Hyderabad, where charging is offered free to employees as a workplace benefit. Ten 22 kW chargers serve electric cars and ten 3.3 kW chargers serve electric two-wheelers, in a single parking zone.
The building's electrical supply could not run all 20 chargers at full power at once. Instead of an electrical upgrade, Zevpoint configured dynamic load balancing, which shares the available power across the chargers in real time and keeps the total within the building's limit.
Employees start a session with an RFID tap, with no app download or account. The chargers record energy, duration and charger for operations, and no personal information about the user. Zevpoint handled the project end to end, from site assessment and installation to staff training and ongoing maintenance.
